(Baonghean.vn) - On January 24th, Lieutenant Nguyen Manh Truong, Team Leader of the Anti-Drug and Crime Team of Nam Can Border Guard Station (Ky Son district), stated that the unit had just investigated and arrested an individual for engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor.

Previously, the Nam Can Border Guard Post received a report from Mr. Va Ba Xong, born in 1993, residing in Nam Can commune (Ky Son district), stating that on January 21st, his younger sister, Va YM, born in 2002, a student in class 8B (Nam Can Ethnic Boarding Primary School), went missing around 12 noon that day.

The suspect is Duong Van Phuc.

The family began searching and learned from P, a villager, that at around 12:15 PM that day, he saw VYM riding a motorbike with two young men towards National Highway 7.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Nam Can Border Guard Station verified the information and coordinated with relevant forces to find M. At around 12:00 PM on January 22nd, the anti-drug and crime investigation team of the Nam Can Border Guard Station discovered M with Duong Van Phuc, born in 1988, whose permanent residence is in Hamlet 5, Dinh Son Commune (Anh Son District).

The police station requested that Phúc and M be brought to the Nậm Càn station for further investigation and clarification. Based on the incident report, the statements of M and Phúc, the case shows signs of the crime of sexual intercourse with a minor.

Currently, the Nam Can Border Guard Station has handed over the suspect and case files to the relevant authorities for further investigation within their jurisdiction.
