Arrested for building 'tiger cage' to buy and sell drugs
To deal with the police force during the drug trafficking process, Tran Van Than reinforced his house in the style of a “tiger cage”. However, his actions did not “get past” the Quy Chau District Police.
Previously, at 7:00 a.m. on June 28, at Block 3, Tan Lac Town, Quy Chau District, Quy Chau District Police coordinated with the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order of the Provincial Police to arrest two subjects VVK (born 2009) and Lu Dai Duong (born 1986), both residing in Chau Hanh Commune, Quy Chau District, for illegal possession of drugs; seized 0.24 grams of heroin.

Expanding the investigation, on June 30, in Chau Hanh commune, Quy Chau district, Quy Chau district police continued to arrest Tran Van Than (born in 1987), residing in Chau Hanh commune, for illegal drug trafficking. The seized evidence included 0.08 grams of heroin, 1 small scale, 1 homemade gun, 1 homemade sword, 4 sharp knives, pipes, and a slingshot.
Being HIV-infected and having two previous convictions for drug trafficking, Tran Van Than was very reckless and daring. To deal with the police, he built a solid house in the style of a “tiger cage” and stored many types of homemade weapons.

Currently, Quy Chau District Police are temporarily detaining two subjects, Lu Dai Duong and Tran Van Than. In the case of VVK, because he is not old enough to bear criminal responsibility, Quy Chau District Police are preparing a file to send him to a reformatory school - a compulsory education facility.
