Caught a giant barb weighing 125 kg, sold for more than 300 million VND
Fishermen accidentally caught a yellow barb weighing more than 125 kg and sold it for over 300 million VND.

The rare golden barb caught in the net was about 1.5m long, about 80cm wide, and weighed more than 125kg.
It took four strong men to lift the giant catfish out of the water.

On December 9, this fisherman sold the giant barb to a shrimp and fish purchasing facility in Mang Thit district, which then transported the fish to Ho Chi Minh City to sell to restaurants for VND2.5 million/kg. The total value of the fish was over VND312 million.
