In the early morning of May 15, dozens of detectives from the Ho Chi Minh City Police surrounded a house in Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City to arrest a suspect related to the motorbike theft case that killed two knights and injured three knights on the evening of May 13.

According to the source, through investigation, extracting security cameras and collecting evidence, the police identified a subject hiding in a house in Go Vap district, so they proceeded to arrest him.

Previously, at around 8:30 p.m. on May 13, a group of street knights in Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City discovered two young men driving an Exciter 150 motorbike with suspicious signs, so they followed them.

Two young men drove around Tan Binh District, District 10, then through Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Ward 10, District 3. Discovering a Honda SH motorbike parked on the sidewalk, one of them jumped off and used a knife to break the lock and steal the motorbike.

As this person was driving his motorbike down the street, a group of 7 knights on 4 motorbikes rushed in and approached. Two thieves pulled out their weapons and attacked, killing Mr. Thoi and Mr. Nam, while three other knights, Mr. Hoang (team leader), Mr. Huy and Mr. Quy, were injured. After committing the crime, the suspects got on their motorbikes and fled the scene.

Suspect Tai "mun" was arrested while hiding in a house on Nguyen Van Chieu street.

A source from Ho Chi Minh City Police confirmed that they have arrested a suspect in a gang of SH motorbike thieves who killed two knights and seriously injured three others.

The suspect has been identified as Nguyen Tan Tai (24 years old, also known as Tai "mun", residing in District 12). Previously, when this suspect was hiding in a house on Nguyen Van Chieu Street, Ward 9, Go Vap District, he was arrested by the police.

Another subject named Phu, an accomplice of Tai, was also detained by the police. Initially, these two subjects admitted that they and their accomplices stole Mr. Phuong’s SH motorbike from a store on CMT8 Street and used weapons to stab and injure five knights.
