Suspect arrested in murder and burial case

On the morning of February 17, Colonel Phung Tat Thanh, Chief of Staff and spokesman of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said that the investigation agency had arrested a suspect in the murder case in the area.

Accordingly, the suspect was identified as Nguyen Thanh Duc. The murdered man was named Hanh (residing in Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city).

According to initial information, the case occurred around December 2016, at a coffee plantation in Loc Duc commune, Bao Lam district (Lam Dong).

After killing the victim, the perpetrator took the victim’s body to An Binh village, Loc An commune, dug a hole to bury the body and hide it. Therefore, the case was not discovered until 2 months later.

Authorities are blocking off the scene.

By sharp professional measures, the investigation agency identified Duc as the suspect related to Mr. Hanh's death.
