Arresting prostitution brokerage ring
A prostitution ring operating in many districts of Ho Chi Minh City has just been discovered by authorities, with many related subjects detained.
On the afternoon of August 29, the Department of Investigation of Social Order Crimes - District 1 Police, Ho Chi Minh City announced that they were temporarily detaining 6 subjects related to a prostitution brokerage ring serving a series of hotels in districts across the city.

Previously, at around 11:40 p.m. on August 28, the reconnaissance force suddenly inspected An Binh Hotel, Pham Ngu Lao Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, catching two couples in the act of prostitution, and arrested Phan Nhu Phung (38 years old, from Thua Thien Hue) for her role as a prostitution broker.
Expanding the investigation, the police force arrested Nguyen Thuy Hang (35 years old, from Can Tho) for her role as broker and coordinator of prostitutes and a number of related people.

At the investigation agency, Hang confessed that every time a guest came to An Binh hotel and wanted to "have fun", she would contact Phung, then Phung would call Hang to coordinate prostitutes to come to the hotel to serve the guest.
The price for each time a prostitute serves a customer is 800,000 VND/time, of which Phung is paid 300,000 VND, the remaining amount Hang splits 50/50 with the prostitute.
Hang manages 4 to 5 prostitutes aged 20 to 25, recruited mainly from the Western provinces. This line has been operating for many months, with branches in many hotels, prostitutes working almost 24/7, each girl serving an average of 9 to 10 customers/day, ready to serve in many districts when customers have a need.
Currently, District 1 Police Department is expanding the investigation of the case.
