Chi Ma Border Guard Station, Lang Son province has just arrested two subjects for trafficking newborn babies to China.

On the morning of August 25, at the border trail, area of ​​landmark 1,227, in Quan Phat village, Yen Khoi commune, Loc Binh district, Lang Son province, the Chi Ma border gate border guard force, Lang Son province Border Guard discovered and arrested 2 subjects carrying a newborn baby trying to illegally cross the border to China.

The two subjects include Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram (born in 1997, residing in Long Khanh B commune, Hong Ngu, Dong Thap) and Ngo Duy Khang (born in 1991, residing in Phuoc Dong commune, Can Duoc, Long An).

At the authorities, the two subjects confessed that the newborn baby they brought was not Tram's biological child, but was received from a woman named Chau (address unknown) at Long Khanh Regional General Hospital, Dong Nai province.

To facilitate the move, the subjects gave Chau more than 10 million VND to make a birth certificate for the baby with the mother's name being Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tram and the father's name being Ngo Duy Khang.

If the child was successfully taken to China and handed over to a man, the subjects would receive 50 million VND. While on the way to illegally exit the country, they were discovered and arrested by the Border Guard.

Since the beginning of the month, Lang Son Province Border Guard has successfully broken up three cases of cross-border trafficking of newborn babies.
