Arrest of 2 subjects transporting 120 kg of firecrackers at the border
(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 100 firecrackers transported on two cars from across the border to Vietnam for sale were discovered and seized by the Phuc Son Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard).
Accordingly, at 5:00 a.m. on January 28, while on duty checking and controlling people and vehicles crossing the border, Cao Veu Control Station of Phuc Son Border Guard Station discovered two cars completing entry procedures into Vietnam.

Through inspection, vehicle with license plate number 37A 058.09 driven by Vo Kim Tuan (born in 1985), hometown Thach Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An, was transporting 58 firecrackers and vehicle with license plate number Lao 7083 driven by Nguyen Huu At (born in 1971), hometown Linh Son commune, Anh Son district, was transporting 40 firecrackers; in total, the two vehicles were transporting 98 firecrackers weighing about 120kg.

Both drivers confessed that they were transporting the above amount of fireworks to Vietnam to sell for profit, but were discovered and arrested at the Border Guard control station.
Currently, the Border Guard force is completing the documents to hand over to the authorities for handling according to the provisions of law.
