The interdisciplinary team included the departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Industry and Trade and the Anh Son District Police. During an inspection from Anh Son town to Cam Son commune, the team discovered and temporarily detained 3 boats illegally exploiting and transporting sand and gravel on the Lam River. More than 30 m3The newly exploited sand and gravel all belong to Thang Loi Cooperative in Block 1A, Anh Son Town.

Mr. Dang Duy Do - Acting Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Anh Son district said: Recently, there have been illegal sand and gravel mining activities in the district. The mining boats operate with sophisticated methods, taking advantage of the night and early morning to avoid detection.
According to the plan, the delegation will continue to inspect and resolutely handle cases of illegal sand mining and trading to restore order in the area. Along with that, the district will continue to strengthen inspection, supervision and remind licensed units to operate in accordance with the law.
