300 unquarantined chickens seized on the way to Vinh for consumption

(Baonghean.vn) - The car driver confessed that these industrial chickens were being transported from Dien Chau to Vinh City for consumption.

At 8:00 p.m. on July 6, in Dien An commune, Dien Chau district, the Environmental Police Department of Nghe An province inspected a car with license plate 37C - 05629 that showed suspicious signs.

Dien Chau Veterinary Station staff took samples for testing.

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered 300 industrial chickens, weighing 813 kg, without quarantine papers on the car. Driver Nguyen Nghia Luong (born in 1987, residing in Block 1, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City) confessed that the chickens were transported from Dien Chau District to Vinh City for consumption.

Immediately afterwards, the working group of the Environmental Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police handed over the case to the Dien Chau District Veterinary Station to collect samples for testing and handle it according to the provisions of law.
