40 heroin cakes seized in official car

Lao Cai Provincial Police have just arrested Lau A Ha, the subject who used a blue-plate car to transport 40 heroin cakes from Dien Bien to Lao Cai.

Preliminary inspection found signs of law violations, the working group requested the subject to bring the vehicle to the provincial police for clarification.

Here, the subject declared his name as Lau A Ha, born in 1977, residing in Xa Dung village, Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien.

Checking the car, they discovered 40 heroin bricks and other evidence in the spare tire hanging under the car.

Through the investigation, Lau A Ha said he was hired to transport another person from Dien Bien to Lao Cai for 150 million VND.
