Arrests made for possession of heroin.

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 31st and April 1st, 2015, the Border Guard of Nghean province arrested two individuals involved in the trafficking and possession of narcotics in the border districts of Ky Son and Tuong Duong.

At 6:00 AM on April 1, 2015, in accordance with the operational plan of the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Nam Can Border Guard Post regarding the monitoring of a drug trafficking and transportation ring from Nam Can commune to Luu Kien and then to Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, the Anti-Drug Trafficking Team of the Nam Can Border Guard Post, Nghe An Border Guard Command, organized an ambush at Luu Phong village, Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district, bordering Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, and discovered a suspicious individual. The officers conducted a search and found a white polyethylene bag containing 22 packets of heroin. During questioning, the suspect identified himself as Luong Xu Ly, born in 1985, residing in Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province.

Earlier, at 5 PM on March 31st, the Anti-Drug Trafficking Team of the Nam Can Border Guard Post, Nghe An Border Guard Command, discovered and arrested Lo Van Ma, born in 1983, residing in Luu Phong village, Luu Kien commune, Tuong Duong district, for illegally possessing narcotics. The seized evidence included 37 packets of heroin, which the suspect confessed he was carrying for personal use.

Currently, the Nam Can Border Guard Station is finalizing the dossier and handing over the suspect and evidence to the relevant authorities for further investigation and handling according to their jurisdiction.
