Arrest of wanted subject for trespassing
Nguyen Thi Huong Tam has been wanted since June 2020 in connection with the case of Nguyen Hai Nam and Lam Hoang Tung committing the crime of "Violating another person's residence".
On September 28, Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that they had arrested Nguyen Thi Huong Tam (born 1984, from Quang Ninh) to investigate the crime of "Violating another person's residence".

Tam has been wanted since June 2020 in connection with the case of Nguyen Hai Nam (born in 1975, former Deputy Chief Justice of District 4 People's Court, Ho Chi Minh City) and Lam Hoang Tung (born in 1991, former lecturer at the Procuratorate Training School in Ho Chi Minh City) for the crime of "Violating another person's residence" under Article 158 of the 2015 Penal Code.
Initially at the Investigation Agency, Nguyen Thi Huong Tam confessed that after the case was prosecuted, she fled to Hanoi to do many different jobs.
In September 2022, Tam moved to Ho Chi Minh City and was arrested.
The case arose from a dispute over the house at 29 Nguyen Binh Khiem (Da Kao Ward, District 1) between Ms. Hoang Trong Anh Chi (born 1982) and Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Thao (born 1983).
On the afternoon of September 19, 2019, when Ms. Thao was not at home, Mr. Lam Hoang Tung (the person authorized by Ms. Chi to resolve related disputes) went to the above house.
Here, Mr. Nguyen Hai Nam (Mr. Tung's friend), Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Tam and many others broke into the house, used force to pressure, forcing the people inside to leave the house and then occupied it until September 28, 2019.
After the Investigation Agencyprosecute, temporarily detained Mr. Nam and Mr. Tung, Ms. Tam escaped. The investigation agency has issued a wanted notice for Ms. Tam.
On December 30, 2020, the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City sentenced defendant Nguyen Hai Nam to 17 months in prison and Lam Hoang Tung to 24 months in prison for the crime of "Violating another person's residence" under Clause 2, Article 158 of the 2015 Penal Code.
On November 8, 2021, the High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City dismissed the appeal and upheld the first instance verdict against defendant Nguyen Hai Nam and defendant Lam Hoang Tung.
