On August 16, 2021, Ky Son District Police said that the unit is temporarily detaining Luong Thi Hoa (born in 1979), residing in Pha Khao village, Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district, to investigate the act of "human trafficking".
Previously, on August 11, 2021, Ky Son District Police received a report from Ms. Luong Thi L. (born in 1996), residing in Pha Khao village, Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district, accusing her of being raped by Luong Thi Hoa.tricked and sold to China.

Immediately after that, Ky Son District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police to establish a special investigation project. During the investigation, the authorities arrested Luong Thi Hoa to investigate the act of "human trafficking".
At the authorities, Hoa confessed that he colluded with relatives abroad to sell Ms. L. to China for 90 million VND.
Currently, Ky Son District Police are continuing to complete the dossier to handle the subject Luong Thi Hoa according to the law.
