Arrest of illegal sand mining subjects on Lam River

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 26, Hung Nguyen District Police coordinated with the Patrol and Control Team (under the Waterway Traffic Police Department - Provincial Police) to arrest a subject illegally mining sand on Lam River.

Illegal sand mining boat was arrested by authorities.

At 11:00 a.m. on September 26, the XDPT and PTX Team on Security and Order, Hung Nguyen District Police, including 3 comrades: Captain Hoang Dinh Thanh - Deputy Team Leader, Major Tran Xuan Thuy and Senior Lieutenant Dang Thanh Trung, coordinated with the Patrol and Control Team (under the Waterway Traffic Police Department - Provincial Police) to arrest Nguyen Van Mao (residing in Hung Lam Commune, Hung Nguyen District) who was illegally mining sand in Hung Xuan Commune (Hung Nguyen District).

Upon inspection, the authorities discovered that the three boats of this subject contained 5 cubic meters of sand that had just been exploited. Immediately afterwards, the authorities made a record and handed over the case and the vehicle to the People's Committee of Hung Nguyen district for handling according to their authority.
