On the afternoon of June 12, the My Quy Tay Border Guard Station (Duc Hue District, Long An) said that it had just coordinated with the provincial Border Guard's professional department and the My Quy Tay Border Guard Customs Team to arrest a subject illegally storing drugs and 2 guns in a car.

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on June 9, Pham Manh Tan (52 years old, residing in Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City) drove a luxury car to the My Quy Tay Border Guard Station to complete exit procedures.
Here, the authorities checked and discovered that Tan's passport had expired. In addition, this subject also showed many suspicious signs.

Continuing to check the subject's luggage, the authorities discovered inside the black handbag 3 plastic bags containing solid crystalline substances and white powder along with a pistol.
The authorities immediately controlled the subject and searched the car, confiscating another pistol.
The bags of solid crystals and white powder were examined and identified as ketamine with a total weight of 3.1317 grams.
Currently, the authorities have initiated a case to continue investigating and clarifying.
