Nearly 100 foreign-made plastic pellet guns seized
(Baonghean.vn)- Police of Cua Nam ward, Vinh city seized nearly 100 plastic guns that shoot marbles made abroad and are on the list of dangerous toys, prohibited from buying, selling, storing, and using.

At around 11:45 a.m. on October 2, the working group of Cua Nam Ward Police (Vinh City) patrolling on Nguyen Phong Sac Street, Block 11, Cua Nam Ward discovered two children using two plastic guns that shoot plastic pellets made abroad, which are dangerous toys that are banned from being bought, sold, stored, and used.
The children said they bought the two plastic guns from the family of Mr. Tran Minh Hoi (born in 1944), residing in Block 11, Cua Nam Ward. During an administrative inspection of Mr. Hoi's grocery store, the ward police task force discovered and seized nearly 100 foreign-made plastic guns of various types and 2 bags of plastic bullets.

At Cua Nam Ward Police Station, Mr. Hoi stated that he had purchased the plastic guns and plastic bullets from a truck driver in Lang Son and sold them in Vinh City on the night of October 1. Cua Nam Ward Police Station has now made a record to confiscate all the plastic guns mentioned above for handling according to the law.
Five days earlier, the police of Cua Nam ward, Vinh city also discovered and made a record of confiscating more than 30 foreign-made plastic guns from Le Van Hai, residing in Hung Nguyen district, who brought them to Vinh market for sale.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Thanh, Chief of Cua Nam Ward Police, this is the result of the implementation of the plan to ensure social order and safety during the 2017 Mid-Autumn Festival of Vinh City Police.
