Previously, at 10:00 a.m. on April 7, a working group of the Environmental Police Department, Quang Ninh Provincial Police, in coordination with Ha Long City Police, inspected and discovered a warehouse in Zone 2, Bach Dang Ward, Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) containing more than 4.2 tons of goods, many of which were packaged in English and Chinese.
Ms. Ta Thi Yen declared that the above goods included milk tea powder, fried powder, lemon tea, fruit syrup, corn kernels... bought from markets in Mong Cai City (Quang Ninh) at prices from 10 to 15 thousand VND/kg to sell to establishments, restaurants, food and beverage establishments, making tapioca pearls, fruit juices and fried flour in Ha Long City and some neighboring provinces. The warehouse owner, Ta Thi Yen, born in 1975, residing in Ha Long, could not present invoices proving the origin and quarantine documents of the above goods.
