Arrested young man snatched bag of pedestrian
After snatching a woman's handbag, the young man went to a stream to change clothes and throw away the stolen goods, then was arrested by the police.
On January 10, Colonel Phan Thanh Quang, Head of the Huong Hoa District Police, Quang Tri Province, said that the unit had just issued an arrest warrant for Thai Cong Thoa (born in 1993, residing in Tan Hop Commune, Huong Hoa District) to continue investigating the act of snatching property from a passerby.

Previously, on the morning of January 9, at Khe Sanh market area (Hamlet 3A, Khe Sanh town, Huong Hoa district), Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (born in 1989; residing in Tan Hop commune) had a male subject snatch a handbag containing more than 1.3 million VND.
After receiving the report, the Huong Hoa District Police launched an investigation and identified Thai Cong Thoa (born in 1993; residing in Tan Hop Commune, Huong Hoa District) as the perpetrator of the incident. Through the struggle, Thoa admitted to snatching Ms. Hong's handbag.
