Arrest of suspect in murder of father and grandmother
Police say they have arrested a suspect suspected of killing five people, including his father and grandmother.
The suspect, Tomohiro Iwakura, 38, was initially arrested on suspicion of strangling his neighbor in Hioki City. The victim's body, along with the bodies of his uncle's wife and her sister, were found at the home where Tomohiro's father and grandmother lived.

After being arrested, the suspect confessed to killing his father and grandmother and then using a car to dispose of the two bodies in the mountains 400 meters from his house. Both bodies were also found by the police yesterday.
The reason for the suspect’s killing of the father and grandmother is still unclear.
