Arrest of man who changed name, escaped special arrest warrant
After seriously injuring his neighbor, the man changed his name many times and hid in many provinces and cities.
Information from Dak Song District Police (Dak Nong) said that the unit has just arrested Vo Tien Trung (also known as Trung coi, born in 1963, residing in Nam N'jang commune, Dak Song district) while he was wanted for the crime of "Cintentional injury".
The subject was arrested while hiding in Bom Bo commune, Bu Dang district (Binh Phuoc).

According to records, Trung has 3 previous convictions for "Theft of property" and "Gambling".
Due to a personal conflict over a land dispute, on the afternoon of August 2, 2020, Trung took a knife to the house of Mr. Luu Quang Kiet (born in 1976, residing in the same commune of Nam N'jang) and slashed the victim, causing 41% injury.
Dak Song District Police Investigation Agency has decided to initiate criminal proceedings and prosecute Trung for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".
Because Trung fled the locality, the Dak Song District Police Department issued a special wanted notice for Vo Tien Trung for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".
During his time in hiding, Vo Tien Trung changed his name (using many different names such as Nguyen Van Nam, Huynh Van My...) and then hid in the provinces of Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc...
After many months of verification and search, using professional measures, at dawn on February 25, 2021, the Working Group of Dak Song District Police coordinated with local police to arrest Trung while he was hiding in Bom Bo commune, Bu Dang district (Binh Phuoc).
