Arrest of woman for illegal drug trafficking

Through the work of grasping the situation, Yen Thanh District Police discovered the network.drug traffickingled by Truong Thi Quyen (born in 1986), residing in Nghia Xuan commune, Quy Hop district (Nghe An). According to the investigation, this is the subject who bought drugs from the northern areas to retail in Yen Thanh district and some areas inside and outside the province.

Faced with that situation, the District Police developed a plan and organized many working groups to coordinate with the Quy Hop District Police to deploy measures to fight and arrest. During the arrest process, the working group encountered many difficulties because the subjects often changed, moved around, and had many sophisticated tricks to deceive the authorities.

After synchronously deploying professional measures and determined to keep the area clean, on the afternoon of October 27, 2024, the Yen Thanh District Police working group coordinated with other units to successfully arrest the subject in Nghia Xuan Commune, Quy Hop District. The seized exhibits included 5,300 synthetic drug pills; 1.5 grams of crystal meth, 3 grams of heroin, 1 car, and 1 mobile phone.

At the investigation agency, Truong Thi Quyen confessed to her crime. Currently, the Investigation Police Agency, Yen Thanh District Police are continuing to expand the investigation.
