Arrest of members of reactionary organization 'multi-party democracy rally'
The Security Investigation Agency has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and issue an arrest warrant to temporarily detain Quach Gia Khang to investigate the act of "Activities aimed at overthrowing the people's government", according to Article 109 of the 2015 Penal Code (amended and supplemented in 2017).
The above decision and order have been approved by the People's Procuracy at the same level.

Quach Gia Khang (28 years old, residing in Binh Minh commune, Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province) is a member of the exiled reactionary organization "multi-party democracy gathering". Previously, through social networks Facebook, Zalo, Viber, Khang learned about and approachedexiled reactionary organization“Multi-party Democracy Group” was founded by Nguyen Gia Kieng (living in France) to conduct activities to gather forces to eliminate the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam; call for the overthrow of the people's government, violate national security and social order and safety. Khang actively drafted and disseminated many articles with orientation for this organization. Despite being propagandized and educated by the authorities, the subject still stubbornly expressed his ideological and opposing attitude.
Notably, recently, these subjects have carried out many subversive activities, such as taking advantage of social networking sites and "media" channels to connect and entice young people, students, and citizens to join organizations and establish associations and groups to conduct activities against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; deny the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam; defame leaders, propagate, sabotage, distort, and attack the regime, and demand pluralism and multi-party system. The above activities of this organization seriously violate the laws of the State of Vietnam.
The Investigation Security Agency of Dong Nai Province Police is continuing to investigate and clarify the criminal acts of the accused and related individuals and organizations to proceed with handling them according to the law. At the same time, it is recommended that people be vigilant against the above-mentioned organization's activities against the Vietnamese State. When discovering information about related individuals and organizations, it is necessary to immediately provide it to the Investigation Security Agency of Dong Nai Province Police.
