Pickup truck carrying illegal timber seized

(Baonghean.vn) - Receiving information from the base, at 7:00 a.m. on June 30, at Km 55 of National Highway 7, the patrol team of Anh Son District Police discovered and detained a pickup truck illegally transporting wood.

Here, the Anh Son District Police discovered in a black pickup truck with license plate 37C-20784 driven by Tran Quang Hai (born in 1977), residing in Chau Dinh, Chau Khe Commune, Con Cuong District, carrying 5 sawn timber slabs weighing about 1m3.

Hai could not present documents proving the legal origin of the above wood.

The district police also discovered 4 fake license plates, 1 traffic baton and 1 signal light for priority vehicles in the car.

Currently, Anh Son District Police have temporarily detained the vehicle, made a record of inspection and continued to investigate./.
