Authorities seized a passenger bus transporting over 4,000 poultry of unknown origin.
(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 10:45 PM on July 10th, the Traffic Police Team of Nghi Loc District Police received information from the public that a passenger bus with license plate 38N - 5507, traveling on National Highway 1A from Hanoi to Ha Tinh, showed signs of unusual behavior.
When the vehicle reached the town of Quan Hanh (Nghi Loc district), the district police force conducted an inspection and discovered that it was carrying more than 4,000 poultry of unknown origin.

Upon inspection, the Nghi Loc District Police discovered 44 boxes containing over 4,000 poultry in the vehicle. Authorities found that all of the goods lacked veterinary inspection certificates and invoices proving their origin.
Driver Le Van Dung (born in 1978), residing in Block 5, Quynh Xuan Ward, Hoang Mai Town, confessed that the illegal goods were hired to be transported from Hanoi to Ha Tinh for sale by a consignor in Hanoi.
Currently, the traffic police team of Nghi Loc district has drawn up a report and handed over the poultry to the relevant authorities for further investigation and handling in accordance with the law.
