Arrested two people who appropriated money from boat owners

According to the investigation agency, since 2014, Dong has been calling himself a "security officer" and, together with Son, has been running boats to collect fees from boats traveling or anchoring on the Da Bac River, which flows through Lai Xuan and Lien Khe communes, Thuy Nguyen district. Depending on the tonnage of the boat, the two suspects demanded a payment of 50,000 - 200,000 VND.
After receiving the victims’ reports, Thuy Nguyen District Police, after collecting enough evidence, arrested Dong and Son. Dong had a criminal record for harming the health of others, and Son had a criminal record for intentionally causing injury.
