Arrested the murderer of his wife's lover 5 hours after committing the crime
On February 13, the Criminal Police Department of Tra Vinh Province Police is temporarily detaining Le Van Thien (35 years old, residing in Phu Tho Hamlet, Thanh My Commune, Chau Thanh District) to investigate the act of "Murder".
Initial investigation results show that in the early morning of February 12, the police force received a report from the people of My Chanh commune about a murder case. Upon receiving the report, the investigation agency quickly arrived at the scene and identified the deceased victim as Nguyen Van Chinh Hai (26 years old, residing in Cong Thien Hung hamlet, Long Duc commune, Tra Vinh city) and the injured person as Duong Thi Hien (28 years old).
Through verification, Hien is Thien's wife and the two are living separately. After committing the crime, the suspect fled and at 7am the same day, the force arrested the suspect who was hiding in an empty lot about 1km from the scene with the weapon.

At the police station, Thien said that due to a conflict with Ms. Hien and recently discovering that Ms. Hien was dating another young man, he had the intention of killing his wife and her rival. At around 1:00 a.m. the same day, Thien discovered that Mr. Chinh Hai was sleeping at his wife's house, so he took a knife and stabbed him multiple times, causing the victim to die on the spot and Ms. Hien to be injured.
The Provincial Police Investigation Agency is continuing to consolidate the case file and handle the subject in accordance with the provisions of law.
