Model Trang Tran arrested urgently.

On the evening of February 27, the Hoan Kiem District Police Investigation Agency (Hanoi) served an urgent arrest warrant on Tran Thi Trang (30 years old, residing in Hanoi), a model and actress known by the stage name Trang Tran, for the act of resisting public officials.

Earlier, on the night of February 26th, Tran Thi Trang and a friend took a taxi from Ngo Van So Street to a hotel on Dao Duy Tu Street. Because the driver drove against the traffic on Dao Duy Tu Street, they were stopped by the Hang Buom Ward Police (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi) for a traffic violation.

Seeing this, Trang and her friend loudly defended the driver. Trang got out of the car and reacted to the law enforcement officers with an uncooperative and disrespectful attitude, using abusive language towards them, and even kicking the police officers who were performing their duties.

Due to her abusive behavior towards others and resistance to law enforcement, Tran Thi Trang was taken to the police station for questioning. There, Trang continued to hurl insults at the police officers.

The investigating agency determined that Trang's actions showed signs of violating criminal law, so they arrested her urgently for investigation. At the same time, they are continuing to investigate Tran Thi Trang's behavior of insulting others.

The Hoan Kiem District Police are also finalizing the case file and considering initiating legal proceedings to investigate and clarify Trang Tran's act of resisting law enforcement. In a video clip of the incident shared online, Trang Tran appeared quite aggressive, not only using harsh language but also physically attacking the officers. Some friends and bystanders tried to intervene, but she continued to hurl insults, requiring 2-3 people to restrain her before taking her to the Hang Buom Ward Police Station.

Trang Tran recently rose to prominence with her role as My "the one-eyed," a subordinate of Huong Ga in the film Huong Ga, which premiered at the end of 2014. This model and actress has also acted in several films and stage performances.

Trang Tran entered the modeling profession in 2005 while still studying at the Hanoi College of Arts. She won an honorable mention at the Miss Fashion 2008 competition, was in the Top 10 of Vietnam Supermodel 2008, and regularly participates in fashion events.
