Arrested man repeatedly molested female student
Thinh stated that he knew the victim from September to October 2023. The two developed feelings for each other, and Thinh repeatedly committed indecent acts with the girl.
The Investigation Police of Vung Liem District (Vinh Long) has prosecuted and temporarily detained Huynh Tien Thinh (39 years old, residing in Hieu Phung Commune) to investigate the act of "Obscenity with a person under 16 years old".
According to the initial investigation, in October 2023, the Investigation Police Department of Vung Liem District Police received a complaint that a girl born in 2009, from Cang Long District (Tra Vinh Province), who was staying at a relative's house to go to school in Hieu Phung Commune, was sexually abused by Huynh Tien Thinh.
During the investigation, Thinh stated that he had known the victim from September to October 2023. The two developed feelings for each other, and Thinh repeatedly committed lewd acts with the girl. To date, the police have prosecuted and detained Thinh.
