On August 3, the Investigation Police Agency of Thai Binh Province issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (42 years old, residing in Thai Binh City, former Deputy Head of the Judicial Support Department - Thai Binh Province Department of Justice) to investigate the act of "fraudulent appropriation of property".

According to the initial investigation results, from June 2013 to July 2014, Ms. Hue received money from a number of people and promised to run errands for state agencies.

Specifically, Ms. Hue received 250 million VND from Mr. Bui Minh V. (Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh) and promised to get his son a job at the Provincial General Hospital.

Then, she tricked Ms. Le Thi B. (residing in Thai Binh City) into "running" for Ms. B.'s son to work at the provincial Department of Justice and appropriated 243 million VND from Ms. B.

In addition, the investigation agency also accused that from October 2015 to February 2016, Ms. Hue fraudulently sold 5 plots of land in Ky Ba urban area, Ky Ba ward, Thai Binh city, appropriating 5.5 billion VND from Ms. Cao Thi H. (residing in Thai Binh city) and Ms. Pham Thi Huong G. (residing in Dien Bien district - Dien Bien province).
