Arrest of a group of cross-border drug traffickers

(Baonghean.vn) - Tuong Duong district police have just arrested a drug trafficking ring across the border in large quantities.

The subjects of illegal trading and storage include Hoang Thi Le (born 1986), Le Van An (born 1974) and Ha Thi Hien (born 1980). The seized evidence includes 2 heroin cakes weighing 734 grams; 6,000 synthetic drug pills and 11 grams of heroin. Initially, the subjects confessed to having purchased the above drugs from abroad into Vietnam to consume for profit.

Also in this project, Tuong Duong district police chased away 4 groups and 9 individuals who were illegally trading drugs in the area, destroyed many tents and camps, and seized 3 homemade mines, 10 homemade guns, and 10 swords of various types./.
