After digging up a bomb weighing more than 300 kg, these people put it on a trailer to transport it to sell.

On May 2, Ben Quan town police, Vinh Linh district (Quang Tri) said that the unit had just discovered and arrested a group of people carrying a bomb with an intact detonator to sell.

The bomb was found with the detonator intact.

Accordingly, at around 9:00 p.m. on May 1, Ben Quan Town Police were on duty when they discovered Mr. Le Van Ty (in Gio Chau Commune, Gio Linh District) and two other people riding a motorbike behind, pulling a cart with a strange object wrapped in a tarpaulin.

The police stopped the car for inspection and discovered that the object covered in a tarpaulin was a bomb with the symbol M177, made in the US, weighing over 322 kg, containing about 185 kg of explosives.

Mr. Ty said that while searching for scrap in a rubber forest in Vinh Linh district, he discovered this bomb. He was on his way to sell it when it was discovered by authorities.

Currently, Ben Quan town police have handed over the bomb to the authorities for handling. At the same time, they have summoned more related subjects to investigate and clarify the case.
