Two groups of young people, including 17 men and women, were caught red-handed gathering to take drugs and illegally use drugs in a hotel.

At around 5:00 a.m. this morning, April 11, through reconnaissance work and using professional measures, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, Viet Tri City Police (Phu Tho) conducted an inspection and caught red-handed 2 groups of young men and women illegally using drugs in 2 rooms of Lam Anh Hotel, located in Duu Lau Ward, Viet Tri City.

In room 307, the police arrested 13 people who were gathering to use drugs, many of whom were showing signs of being “high on drugs”. Evidence seized at the scene included 18 synthetic drug pills and 3 white plastic bags containing Ketamine.

Exploited on the spot, this amount of drugs was bought by Quach Xuan Hai, born in 1994, registered residence in Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province in Ba Vi, Hanoi on the night of April 10, then rented a room at Lam Anh hotel, gathered friends to use it together.

In room 407, the police arrested 4 subjects who were illegally using drugs. The seized evidence included 26 synthetic drug pills and 3 plastic bags containing Ketamine.

According to initial statements, this amount of drugs was bought by Le Dai Duong, born in 1993, registered residence in zone 13, Hung Son town, Lam Thao district, Phu Tho province to resell for profit, and at the same time gathered friends to rent a room at Lam Anh hotel to use.
