Female real estate company director arrested for selling land on paper
The subject used fraudulent tricks such as selling fake land, land that was not under his ownership, selling one plot of land to many people... to appropriate over 3 billion VND.
The Criminal Police Department - Quang Binh Provincial Police said, iscriminal detentionTran Thi Huyen (born in 1989, residing in TDP 1, Bac Ly ward, Dong Hoi city) is the Director of Hoang Anh Land QB Company Limited for fraud and property appropriation.

Previously, through the investigation, Quang Binh Provincial Police discovered that from 2022 to April 2023, Huyen used fraudulent tricks such as selling fake land, land not under his ownership, selling one plot of land to many people... to appropriate the property of many victims in the province, the initial amount of money clarified was over 3 billion VND.
Specifically, on June 26, 2022, Huyen received 640 million VND from Ms. NTT (residing in Quang Phuc ward, Ba Don town) with the reason of selling to Ms. T. a plot of land separated from a plot of land in Hai Phu commune (Bo Trach district).
Both parties agreed to go to the notary office to sign the land transfer on July 12, 2022, but after the deadline, Huyen still had not completed the procedures.
Many times Ms. T. tried to meet her to resolve the matter, but Huyen avoided her. Ms. T. found out for herself that in Hai Phu commune there was no land plot as Huyen had introduced.
Similarly, Ms. LTHV (residing in Ha Trach commune, Bo Trach district) also filed a complaint against Huyen to the authorities for being scammed.
According to Ms. V., on October 28, 2022, Huyen agreed to sell Ms. V. and her husband a plot of land in Nam Hong village (Nam Trach commune, Bo Trach district) for 650 million VND.
Ms. V. has paid the full amount and Huyen has written a land sale confirmation paper, promising to complete the transfer within 45 days at the latest, but up to now Huyen has not completed the land transfer procedures for Ms. V.
Many times, this woman met Huyen to request the handover of the Land Use Rights Certificate, but Huyen avoided and did not resolve the matter. Through investigation, Ms. V. learned that the land plot that Huyen agreed to sell did not belong to Huyen.
Through initial investigation, Tran Thi Huyen confessed that in June 2022, due to needing money to pay off debt, Huyen had the intention of defrauding and appropriating property. Because they knew each other before and had bought and sold land together, Huyen provided information about non-existent land plots and sold them to others in order to appropriate money.
The case is currently under further investigation.
