Interprovincial jewelry robbery gang arrested

Information from Thanh Hoa Police said that Bim Son Town Police have just arrested a gang specializing in inter-provincial property snatching between Bim Son Town and Tam Diep City (Ninh Binh).

The arrested subjects include Pham Van Linh (born in 1988, residing in Bac Son ward, Bim Son town), Nguyen Van Sang (born in 1989, residing in Ha Tien commune, Ha Trung district), Nguyen Van Chinh (residing in Hoang Dao commune, Hoang Hoa district) and Tran Tuan Anh (born in 1985), residing in Ninh Son ward, Ninh Binh city.

According to the police investigation, from the beginning of December 2016 until their arrest, the subjects had committed 15 robberies in the border areas between Bim Son Town, Ha Trung District and Tam Diep City (Ninh Binh).

The gang's trick is to take advantage of the darkness when female workers come home late at night. The subjects ride motorbikes and force them to the side of the road, use knives to control them, and rob them of gold jewelry, cash, phones, etc.

Currently, Bim Son Town Police have initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused and temporarily detained the above subjects, and are coordinating with Ninh Binh Police to investigate and clarify the incident./.
