Caught a 9X girl possessing 12kg of poppy plants
(Baonghean.vn) - Ky Son District Police have just caught a subject in possession of 12kg of opium poppy (also known as opium) at his private home. The subject confessed to buying it to soak in alcohol.
According to information from Captain Tran The Nghia - Deputy Captain of the Criminal Police - Economic - Drug Team of Ky Son District Police, on December 29, the Team caught a subject red-handed buying and selling 12 kg of opium poppy at his private home.

At the investigation agency, the subject was identified as Kha Thi Huyen, born in 1993, residing in Cau Tam village, Ta Ca commune (Ky Son). Huyen confessed that at around 11 pm on December 28, an unidentified Mong man from Nam Can commune (Ky Son) asked to sell the above opium plants. Huyen agreed to buy them for 800,000 VND with the purpose of soaking them in alcohol to sell for profit. At around 11 am on December 29, Ky Son district police caught Kha Thi Huyen red-handed storing the above amount of opium plants at her private home.
