(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Police Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment, Provincial Police is detaining Dinh Van Tin (born in 1963), residing in Quy Chinh block, Nam Dan town, Nam Dan district, for the act of buying and selling wild, endangered, and rare animals.
Previously, at 9:30 a.m. on January 18, at Quy Chinh block, Nam Dan town, Nam Dan district, the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy, Smuggling, and Environment, Provincial Police presided over and coordinated with Nam Dan District Police to crack down on a case, arresting Dinh Van Tin (born in 1963), residing in Quy Chinh block, Nam Dan town, for the act of buying and selling wild, endangered, and rare animals.

The seized exhibits included: 10 monkeys, 2 spotted leopards, 1 pangolin (all dead), with a total weight of 120 kg. Among them were a number of individuals on the list of endangered, precious, and rare species.
The case is being continued to be expanded.
