Caught a doctor taking money from a patient
A doctor was just caught red-handed by the police while receiving money from patients and their families who came to see a psychiatrist.
Dak Lak Mental Hospital has just reported on an official caught red-handed receiving money from a patient.
Accordingly, at around 12:55 p.m. on December 27, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong (a party member, treating physician at the Department of Examination and Emergency Resuscitation), was caught red-handed by the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling, Dak Lak Provincial Police, while receiving money from patients and their relatives who came to see a mental health professional to receive an outpatient treatment book and receive monthly allowances.
During the investigation, the police took a statement from Mr. Nguyen Huu Chuong right at the emergency room of the Examination and Resuscitation Department. At about 11:45 p.m. the same day, the police escorted Mr. Chuong to a car and left the hospital.
On the same day, December 27, at 1:30 p.m., Mr. Lai Thai Cong (Head of the Department of Examination and Emergency Resuscitation), had just entered the department when the police called him into a private room. At about 1:45 p.m., Mr. Lai Thai Cong was taken by the police to a car and left the hospital with the initial reason that he was the head and was primarily responsible for all Examination and Emergency Resuscitation activities.
Currently, the police are still working with the hospital's leadership and other related individuals. The hospital said it will cooperate with the investigation agency to provide information and other related content.
