According to initial information, at 2:45 p.m. on March 14, detectives from the Criminal Police Department (PC45) of Tien Giang Provincial Police suddenly raided the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep (38 years old), residing in Hamlet 1, Trung An Commune, My Tho City, Tien Giang Province.
In Ms. Diep's bedroom, the police caught 14 people, including 9 women and 5 men, gambling for money.
At the scene, police seized about 30 million VND on the gambling table, about 180 million VND on the gamblers and many decks of cards.
In front of this house is Mrs. Diep's husband's aluminum and iron door processing facility. Mrs. Diep's bedroom is equipped with air conditioning to serve the gamblers. The detectives encountered many difficulties in destroying this casino.
