On December 16, a leader of the People's Procuracy of Krong No district (Dak Nong province) said that the unit had just signed a decision to prosecute and a temporary detention order against Mr. Bui Tan Buu (former Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Krong No district from March 2014 to August 2017) to investigate the act of "Embezzlement of property".

According to initial information, Mr. Buu and the former accountant of the Center legalized documents to withdraw budget money for various purposes, including personal expenses.
When inspecting the Land Fund Development Center of Krong No District, the Inspection Committee of the Krong No District Party Committee discovered that during the time Mr. Buu was the Director, there were many acts of management, revenue and expenditure, and implementation of assigned projects that were not transparent, and the books were unclear, so it recommended that the investigation agency conduct an investigation and clarification.
It is known that before being prosecuted and temporarily detained, Mr. Buu was disciplined by the District People's Committee and demoted from Director to Deputy Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Krong No District.
