18-year-old arrested for selling police uniforms on Facebook
Phan Thiet City Police (Binh Thuan) said they have just arrested a subject impersonating a police officer and illegally buying and selling military uniforms of the People's Public Security Force on Facebook.

The arrested subject is Vo Nhat Truong (18 years old, residing in KP.5, Duc Long Ward, Phan Thiet City).
According to the investigation, Truong created two Facebook accounts named “Vo Nhat Truong” and “Nguyen Nhat Huy” to illegally buy and sell military equipment. After a period of surveillance, the police caught Truong red-handed.
Searching the suspect's home, the police seized many military uniforms of the People's Public Security Force; including handcuffs and a fake name tag bearing the name Vo Nhat Truong.
At the investigation agency, Truong admitted his actions. Truong also stated that he also posted for sale military ranks of lieutenant and colonel on Facebook.
Currently, Phan Thiet City Police are continuing to investigate and clarify the origin and purpose of the military uniforms that Truong is using to handle them according to regulations./.
