Young man arrested for raping and robbing many girls
Defendant Thai Hong Duong, 20 years old, used a knife to control and rape many girls and robbed the victims' property.
On February 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Hon Dat District (Kien Giang) prosecuted and temporarily detained Thai Hong Duong (20 years old, residing in Tan Hiep District) to investigate the acts of Rape and Robbery.
According to the initial investigation, Duong and the girl H. (21 years old, living in Tan Hiep district, Kien Giang) met through Zalo and often texted each other. At that time, Duong used the Zalo name "Toan".

On February 14, Thai Hong Duong called H. to invite her out on Valentine's Day and she agreed. Afterwards, Duong drove his SH to her house to pick her up.
When they reached a deserted road in My Hiep Son commune (Hon Dat district), Duong used a knife to control the girl and forced her to have sex. After assaulting the victim, he snatched the 1.5 tael gold necklace and took H's Iphone 12 ProMax, 600,000 VND and ATM card.
At this time, Duong was about to drive away when H. stopped her and asked her to take her home. The girl got in the car and drove about 100 meters when Duong asked her to get out. The two argued, and H. was injured by Duong with a knife, pushed the girl down the canal bank, and then drove away.

At the investigation agency, Duong confessed that using similar methods, he committed 4 rapes and robberies of girls in Hon Dat district.
