To settle the debt, Huu arranged to meet Thi at a rubber plantation in Tan Tien commune to talk things out. When Thi arrived at the meeting point, he brought along several friends.
In the rubber plantation, the processdemand moneyThis led to an argument between the two. At this point, Huu pulled out a gun he had hidden in his pants pocket, intending to teach Thi a lesson in "manners," but Thi's friends rushed in and wrestled with him, causing Huu to fire two shots, luckily without hitting anyone.
Thi's group of friends then disarmed Huu and brought the gun to the police station to hand it over and explain the situation. The Dong Phu District Police then coordinated with the Tan Tien Commune Police to apprehend Huu.
At the police station, Huu confessed to buying the gun and six bullets through social media. Subsequent examination confirmed the gun to be a military weapon.
