Arrested 3 more subjects causing 17 robberies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 23, Nghi Loc District Police announced that they had expanded Project 716G, arresting 3 more subjects for robbery.

As reported, from July 2016 until now, on National Highway 46 and National Highway 1A through Nghi Loc district, robberies often occur.

The subjects rode Exiter and Sirius motorbikes (with license plates removed) and often took advantage of the late night (around 7-12pm) to rob women of their handbags and property. Faced with this situation, Nghi Loc District Police established Project 716G to fight and clarify the case. On August 17, Nghi Loc District Police broke up the project and arrested two subjects: Le Duc Thang (born in 1995), residing in Hamlet 10, Nghi Hop Commune, Nghi Loc District and Hoang Cong Dat (born in 1998), residing in Block 9, Nghi Tan Ward, Cua Lo Town for the act of snatching property.

Continuing to expand the case, Nghi Loc District Police arrested 3 more subjects for robbery. The subjects include: Hoang Nhu Bao (born 2000) residing in Thanh Vinh 2 hamlet, Nguyen Thanh Son (born 1997) residing in Trung Tien hamlet and Tran Vinh Hien (born 1997) residing in Tan Lap I hamlet, all in Nghi Quang commune (Nghi Loc district).

Through the struggle, the subjects confessed that together with Le Duc Thang and Hoang Cong Dat, they committed 17 robberies on National Highway 1A and National Highway 46.

Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are completing the documents to handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law. At the same time, return the property to the victims.
