Authorities seized a shipment of 1,700 pirated discs containing obscene content.

(Banghean.vn) - The traffic police force of Nghe An province has just seized a shipment of 1,700 pornographic DVDs.

On the afternoon of November 24th, the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Nghe An Provincial Police Department's Traffic Police Division, reported that at 3:40 AM that same day, they received information from the public about a passenger bus transporting a large quantity of obscene goods for sale.

Traffic police are counting the number of DVDs containing obscene content.

Immediately, the task force of the station, led by Captain Pham Van Luc - the team leader, along with 3 officers from the Dien Chau Traffic Police station, ambushed the suspects on National Highway 1A.

At approximately 3:45 AM, at kilometer 405 on National Highway 1A, a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 015.17 was observed acting suspiciously. The task force signaled the vehicle to stop. Upon inspection, they discovered a large cardboard box containing 1,700 DVDs, most of which contained obscene content.

The vehicle and evidence were then taken to the police station for further investigation. At the police station, the driver identified himself as Le Van Hoc (born in 1976), residing in Block 7, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province.

The incident is currently under investigation.
