Arrested for transporting 1,700 pirated discs with obscene content

(Banghean.vn)- Nghe An Traffic Police have just caught a case of transporting 1,700 obscene DVDs on the way.

On the afternoon of November 24, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Public Security said that at 3:40 a.m. the same day, it received information from the public that a passenger bus was transporting a large quantity of obscene goods for sale.

Traffic police are counting the number of DVDs with obscene content.

Immediately, the station's working group led by Captain Pham Van Luc - team leader and 3 officers of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station ambushed on National Highway 1A.

At around 3:45 a.m., at km405, National Highway 1A, the police noticed a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 015.17 with suspicious signs. The task force signaled to stop the vehicle, and upon inspection, discovered that the passenger bus was carrying a large cardboard box containing 1,700 DVDs, most of which contained obscene content.

The car and the evidence were then taken to the police station for investigation. At the police station, the driver gave his name as Le Van Hoc (born in 1976), residing in Block 7, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An.

The case is currently under investigation./.
