(Baonghean.vn) - On April 2, 2015, the Security Investigation Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police caught Le Dinh Ba (born in 1952), residing in Hamlet 5, Trang Son Commune, Do Luong District (Nghe An), red-handed for illegally transporting explosive materials.

Implementing the plan to combat crime and protect the Party Congress at all levels and major political events of the country, recently, through intelligence gathering, the Security Investigation Department learned that some individuals in Do Luong district were illegally possessing, transporting, buying, selling, and using explosives, so they established a plan to combat this. After a period of implementing professional measures, at approximately 4:00 AM on April 2, 2015, in Hamlet 6, Trang Son commune, Do Luong district, the Security Investigation Department caught Le Dinh Ba (born in 1952), residing in Hamlet 5, Trang Son commune, Do Luong district, red-handed while illegally transporting explosives. The seized evidence included 71 kg of explosives (bomb powder) and a motorcycle with license plate 37L2-2596. During initial questioning, Le Dinh Ba confessed to his crime.

Currently, the Security Investigation Department of the Provincial Police is continuing to expand the investigation to clarify the origin and purpose of transporting the explosives, as well as the related individuals, in order to strictly prosecute them according to the law.
