Caught transporting foul-smelling frozen chicken on Highway 1A
(Baonghean.vn) - Dien Chau authorities have just arrested a case of transporting foul-smelling frozen chicken and chicks of unknown origin on National Highway 1A.

At 1:00 a.m. on May 23, while patrolling along National Highway 1A through Dien Hong Commune, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station discovered and seized a case of transporting 4 cardboard boxes containing 320 chicks and 1 foam box containing 38 kg of smelly chicken meat.
The above goods were transported by driver Nguyen Van Tan, born in 1976, residing in Tan Binh hamlet, Tu Thinh commune, Son Duong district (Tuyen Quang province) on passenger bus with license plate number 22B-008.22.

The driver declared that he was transporting goods for a woman from Vinh Phuc province to Gia Lai and did not have a quarantine certificate.
Immediately afterwards, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station handed over the chicks and frozen chicken products to Dien Chau Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
