Caught a vehicle carrying 400 kg of buffalo and beef fat and pork rinds of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - A small truck carrying more than 426 kg of processed buffalo and beef fat and pork rinds was on its way to be sold when it was arrested by Traffic Police Team 1-48, under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province.

On the afternoon of November 30, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ham Thang - Captain of Traffic Police Team 1-48 said that at 10:30 a.m. the same day, the Working Group was on duty on Highway 48 when they received a report from the people that a small truck with license plate 36C-033.63 was transporting some pre-processed beef fat and pork rinds.

The car was carrying animal fat.

Immediately, the task force intercepted on Highway 48 to arrest the vehicle as reported. At around 11:30, the vehicle appeared at km 25 and was signaled by the task force to stop for inspection.

The car was driven by Nguyen Van Thao (born in 1981), residing in Hai Thanh commune, Tinh Gia, Thanh Hoa.

The task force discovered 11 sacks of processed buffalo and beef fat and 3 bags of pork rinds in the truck’s cargo hold, with a total weight of 426 kg. At the time of inspection, the driver was unable to provide legal documents or the origin of the aforementioned food.

Accordingly, the Working Group prepared an initial file and handed it over to Thai Hoa Town Veterinary Station for handling according to its authority./.
