Bus carrying more than 500kg of buffalo feet of unknown origin caught

(Baonghean.vn) -At 3:30 p.m. on August 25, on National Highway 1A, passing through Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Control Station arrested a case of transporting buffalo feet of unknown origin.

While on patrol, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Control Station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province) discovered and arrested a passenger car with license plate 36B-01031, driven by Mr. Le Van Thao (born in 1972), residing in Xuan Thanh, Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa, traveling from Thanh Hoa to Ho Chi Minh City, carrying buffalo feet of unknown origin.

Upon inspection, this passenger bus was found to be carrying more than 500kg of buffalo feet in 8 styrofoam boxes (some of which had been pre-processed). The owner of the bus, Le Van Thao, admitted that the goods were transported for a person (name unknown) to transport from Thanh Hoa City to Ho Chi Minh City for sale, but there were no relevant documents to clearly prove the origin.

Dien Chau Traffic Control Station has made a record to confiscate the above buffalo feet and handed them over to Dien Chau Veterinary Station for destruction according to the law./.
