Passenger bus seized for carrying over 500kg of buffalo feet of unknown origin.

(Baonghean.vn) -At 3:30 PM on August 25th, on National Highway 1A in Dien Truong commune, Dien Chau district, a task force from the Dien Chau Traffic Control Station apprehended a shipment of buffalo hooves of unknown origin.

While on patrol, a task force from the Dien Chau Traffic Control Station ( thuộc the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province) discovered and apprehended a passenger bus with license plate 36B-01031, driven by Mr. Le Van Thao (born in 1972), residing in Xuan Thanh, Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa, traveling from Thanh Hoa to Ho Chi Minh City, carrying buffalo feet of unknown origin.

Upon inspection, the passenger bus was found to be carrying over 500kg of buffalo feet in 8 styrofoam boxes (some of which had already been processed). The bus owner, Le Van Thao, admitted that the goods were being transported for an unnamed person who hired him to carry them from Thanh Hoa City to Ho Chi Minh City for sale, but he did not have any relevant documents to prove their origin.

The Dien Chau traffic control station confiscated the buffalo hooves and handed them over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for destruction in accordance with the law.
