Election of additional members to the People's Committee of Nghe An province, term 2021 - 2026

On the morning of July 12, the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held its 7th session to conduct personnel work under its authority. Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the session. Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee read the document on the dismissal of comrade Le Dinh Ly - former Director of the Department of Home Affairs from the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term, who has now been transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board in Decision No. 1083 of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued on May 6, 2022.

Based on the submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council delegates dismissed and voted to approve the resolution confirming the dismissal of comrade Le Dinh Ly from the position of member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Next, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee read the introduction to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 for comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Based on the submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council delegates voted to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term for comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

As a result, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung was elected as an additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term with 80/80 votes.

The Provincial People's Council voted to approve the draft Resolution confirming the results of the election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, term 2021 - 2026 for comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

Previously, in Decision No. 1226 of the Provincial People's Committee issued on May 6, 2022, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs.
